    A Fantastic & Easy Lemon Drizzle Cake for Father’s Day

    I hate to cook. I do enjoy baking though, which is good because Marc is often heard saying, “will you make me a cake?” “Are you going to make cookies?” Even though I enjoy baking, the same principle applies that I have established for cooking… it needs to be easy, thank you very much. Thankfully, this cake hit all the right marks. I made Chef John’s Lemon Drizzle Cake (from FoodWishes.com) for Father’s Day and it was a huge hit. HUGE.     An Introduction That Took Nearly Three Years

    There is real fear in staring at a blank page. I’ve been staring at this one since October of 2020. I did a little online search and I can’t find which artist I need to attribute this to, but I want to say I heard it was Van Gogh. Supposedly, Van Gogh also faced this same fear. And in an effort to minimize the great-blank-monster before him he would make a giant mark through the center of his canvas just to mess it up on purpose.
